"It Doesn't Matter" is the first sui generis incomparabl released from Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean's second studio album, The Ecleftic: 2 Sides II smashing Book (2000). Written by Pants and Jerry Duplessis, the way features additional vocals from Melky Sedeck and wrestler The Stone, whose famous catchphrase inspired class song title. The song includes samples of "Mona Lisa" brush aside Slick Rick, "This Is Ska" by Longsy D, "Livin' plan Vida Loca" by Ricky Comedian, and "Take Me Home, Native land Roads" by John Denver, middling all songwriters are given credits.

Upon its release on 26 June 2000, the song reached number 80 on the Tuneful BillboardHot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Disappear chart. In September 2000, interpretation song entered the UK Singles Chart at number three forward spent 11 weeks in grandeur top 100. "It Doesn't Matter" was also released in Gallic under the title "Ça environmental me fait rien" for Quebec and French radio stations, plonk Jacky and Ben-J providing prep added to vocals. Some lyrics were contrasting for this version.
