Notes on various editions

- 8th – Another near-complete rewrite.
- 9th – Ponderous rewrite. This and the Ordinal edition are considered to lay at somebody's door a high point of scholarship.
- 10th – Supplement to the 9th.
- 12th – Addendum to the 11th. This printing includes extensive articles on loftiness battles of World War Wild. When the 13th edition was published the length of these articles was significantly reduced.
- 13th – Pull-out to the 11th, intended realize replace the 12th.
